Have ever wanted to run Mac’s flurry screensaver on your Windows XP machine? I’ll teach you how. I’m using it myself. Here’s how to do it.
Installation guide:
Hard way.
1. First is to download the screensaver. Here is the link. [54KB]
2. Extract the downloaded file on your desktop. You can use whatever file extractor do you want. But I prefer 7-zip, because it’s free. You can get it here.
3. Right click the file named Flurry.scr on your desktop and choose copy.
4. Click on start, look for Run and click it. You can also press Windows logo + R on your keyboard to fire up Run command on Windows. (Run dialog box appears)
5. Type C:WINDOWSSystem32 and hit Ok. (a new window appears)
6. Right click and choose Paste.
7. Go to your desktop, right click and choose Properties. Click the Screensaver Tab, under Screensaver drop down menu, look for flurry in the list and click it. I’m sure it’s already there. Click Apply and Ok. That’s it. Enjoy.
