Kim Ung-Yong a Korean super-genius was born in 1962 and might just be the smartest guy alive today (he’s recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as having the highest IQ of anyone on the planet).
By the age of four he was already able to read in Japanese, Korean, German, and English. At his fifth birthday, he solved complicated differential and integral calculus problems. Later, on Japanese television, he demonstrated his proficiency in Chinese, Spanish, Vietnamese, Tagalog, German, English, Japanese, and Korean. Kim was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records under “Highest IQ“; the book estimated the boy’s score at over 210.
Kim was a guest student of physics at Hanyang University from the age of 3 until he was 6. At the age of 7 he was invited to America by NASA. He finished his university studies, eventually getting a Ph.D. in physics at Colorado State University before he was 15.
In 1974, during his university studies, he began his research work at NASA and continued this work until his return to Korea in 1978 where he decided to switch from physics to civil engineering and eventually received a doctorate in that field.
Kim was offered the chance to study at the most prestigious universities in Korea, but instead chose to attend a provincial university. As of 2007 he also serves as adjunct faculty at Chungbuk National University.
Words can’t describe that genius. It is surprising to read that he knows how to speak tagalog, since I’m a Filipino. His accomplishments is very impressive indeed.
I think he is currently working with some secret projects with NASA, and the American Government. I just can’t imagine his skills.

Actually, no, he doesn’t have the highest IQ. The reason is because once you hit 200 on the IQ test, your IQ is immeasurable. That means he ties with people like Sho Yano. Once you’re at the 200 mark, it’s like comparing people who scored 100% on an exam. What’s the difference between one person scoring 100% and another person scoring 100%? Who is smarter? We know they can’t be equal, they both just found the test easy and basically score perfect. Until someone makes a mistake, you can’t tell who is smarter. No test can measure above 200 at the moment, because most tests are created by people with IQ’s less than 200… you can’t create a test that is so hard that someone with an IQ over 200 can’t solve, if your own IQ is 130 (you won’t be able to figure out the answer to test them with!).
So no, he’s not technically the person with the highest IQ. He is just ONE of the many people tied for the highest. We don’t know who is highest at the moment.
