I have Ehlers-Danlos types 3 & 5. When I was younger, I was very flexible and participated In gymnastics and dance. In high school I was still very flexible. However, as I got older, the dislocation and flexibilities were no longer painless. When I turned thirty, my joints started breaking down with osteoarthritis and my ligaments and tendons stopped snapping back, they are more like stretched out rubberbands. Do you think it is because I didn’t train like you? Have you felt any pain as you’ve gotten older? I cannot walk unaided anymore because my hips will pop out randomly, causing me to fall. My shoulders do it sometimes too. I truly hope you never feel the pain that can go along with Ehlers-Danlos. I also wanted to ask you if you get cut, do you heal quickly and do you scar or not? Thank you, Sara Kate
